Strategic Alignment with National Energy Goals
This initiative aligns with Mauritania's broader energy strategy, aiming to achieve 100% electricity access and a 70% renewable energy share in the national grid by 2030.The hybrid plant is a cornerstone of the "National Energy Pact," which seeks to expand electricity access to an additional 3.4 million Mauritanians and attract $1.23 billion in private investment for the energy sector.
